Service Guide

Assembly 

 

Please ensure that model kits are assembled before sending as I don’t provide a model making service. This being said I’m happy to attach weapons and apply transfers free of charge.

 

Purchasing

 

Figures can be supplied but these will be charged at manufacturers prices inclusive of any postage charge.

 

Payment

 

I prefer payment in advance, but with larger orders over £200 I will accept a 50% deposit with the balance paid upon completion. Please make cheques payable to “Silurian War Games Ltd”. Paypal only for overseas customers.

 

Shipping

 

Please ensure that any models sent to me are well packed and sent by Recorded Delivery. Any minor damage will be repaired on my end and I ask the same courtesy from you. Shipping costs are presented on my Prices page and will be included in your quote. Every care will be taken to carefully wrap and post your order to you but I can’t be held liable for models that are damaged in transit. In the rare event of this please take the matter up with the postal service in question. A tracking number will be provided and postal insurance taken out on orders over £100.

 

Turnaround

 

My normal turnaround is about 3 to 4 weeks on orders up to 40 (28mm) or 100 (15mm) figures. Larger orders will take proportionately longer. 

 

Abandoned Figures

 

In the extreme and hopefully very unlikely circumstance that you do not pay for your completed figures (various reasons) then I reserve the right to try and recover my costs by putting your models up for sale. This will only happen after 30 days have elapsed following project completion. I must emphasise that this will only be done as a last resort, but will be necessary to try and recover my loss in time and revenue. Any deposit will be forfeited, but any figures sent for painting will be replaced or refunded. Cash refunds are offered only at my discretion. Please remember that I am running a business.
